After School Club Bolt-Ons:

Targeted PE Session

Working to provide children who are struggling in PE lessons to develop their skills in a smaller group setting. The aim is to bring children up to the expected PE target level and help them build a better relationship with physical activity.

Lifestyle and Health

To create an educational environment where children can learn about making positive lifestyle choices. Looking healthy foods and how to plan a healthy meal alongside taking part in physical activities.

Teacher Training

To upskill teaching staff who deliver PE within their class. Our support helps teachers to build confidence in delivery while having chance to be shown how to adapt sessions to meet the needs of each child in their lessons to help impact more children.

Reception and Nursery Lessons

To work alongside children in the foundation stage to build up motor skills through the freedom of play. Looking at hand eye coordination, balancing and movement skills.

Leadership

Working in smaller groups to lead peers in small activities. To develop communication skills whilst working around others strengths and weaknesses.

Sport Specific

To up skills children who are taking part in out of school sporting activities. These can be used for tournaments that schools may be entering in the future. This would provide children confidence of the games, rules and to help build understanding.

Physical Interventions

To increase the development of core strength in younger children which will create a foundation for a healthier life. To develop core strength skills that impact children inside the classroom and within PE lessons.

Problem Solving

To ensure children make good decisions within sport. Looking at tactical decision making, understanding what makes a good team and how to be effective whilst working together.
